Miguel Mayana runs this salsa event in Balham at the White Eagle Club (aka Hamilton House) on the first Friday of every month. It is a welcome rebirth of the Que Rico event which used to run on the 2nd Friday of each month at The Bedford in Balham last year until it had to be closed for refurbishment. I always look forward to being part of the biggest and best monthly salsa dancing venue in the UK which is El Grande at Scala from 21:30 to 05:00 - 4 rooms for salsa, cubana, bachata & kizomba - often attended by more than 1200 dancers! Philip Frost and Miguel Mayana run a monthly salsa event at The Bedford in Balham which is one of my favourite venues. The main room for salsa is ideal: wooden dance floor, capacity for 250 dancers, excellent sound system, air conditioning that works and  free parking nearby in Sainsbury for 250 cars! I particularly enjoyed dancing with the glamorous blond from Bulgaria - I had many outrageous dances with this little ball of fire! As I was leaving I bumped into her outside and hug/kissed her goodbye and then her boyfriend did the same to me saying: "Respect!" 🙂 ❤

Dennis Dales' music tonight was excellent - he made me want to dance to every track!
