On 23rd July 1986 Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson had a fabulous royal wedding at Westminster Abbey watched by a TV audience of 500 million viewers who were fascinated by the pageantry of the occasion! On This Day 178 Years Ago – Victoria crowned Queen of England

On 28th June 1838 the Coronation of Queen Victoria took place just over a year after she ascended the throne at the tender age of 18 when her uncle King William IV died in 1837.
