Southampton University Salsa Society (SUSS) run an all dayer every year to celebrate the end of the university year. I went to Bailamos 2015 but missed Bailamos 2016 for some unknown reason! Having been to Bailamos 2017 and had such a fabulous time, as well as meeting 3 new favoured salseras & friends (Daniela, Rasa & Sara) there was no way I was going to miss Bailamos 2018!
The venue is Student Union, University of Southampton, University Road, Southampton SO17 1BJ and the after party, which I’m interested in, supposedly starts at 9pm but it is unlikely to get going before 10pm. The ticket for the after party is £6 which goes on until 2am. There are two rooms – a large ballroom which plays mostly Cuban salsa tracks & Animations and a smaller bar room which plays salsa, bachata, kizomba in the ratio 2:2:2.
