Putney Salsa Club is hosted by Incognito which is run by the elegant Jeff Tarpinian and the lovely Mia Amorbaila. It has a very friendly atmosphere and the venue has a superb professional dance floor for 200 dancers with a professional sound system and air conditioning that works. The dance floor is normally used by Dance Lab for professional ballroom events.
The event is on every Friday from 7pm but I can only go when there are 5 Fridays in the month because four of my Fridays are already booked going to various other venues in London but I haven’t managed to attend since August last year so I was very much looking forward to seeing my friends at Putney Salsa Club again! I plan to arrive for the social dancing at 9pm which goes on until nearly midnight. Philip Wake Though the humidity was working against my natural cooling system, I had an increasingly good time salsa dancing mainly – as I didn’t want to get hot with any other kind of dancing – until my last dance around 11:15 when I had the best dance of the night with Corrie I think she said her name was! It’s always good to finish on a high note! 🙂 ❤️
