Enrique Perez & his partner Rob Carroll run an excellent evening of salsa at Bar So in Bournemouth every Wednesday. There are bachata workshops from 7:30pm to 8:30pm followed by Cuban salsa workshops from 8:45pm until 10:30pm. All levels are catered for with the one and only Moe Flex usually providing the advanced level for bachata & salsa.
The workshops are followed by social dancing until 1am with an excellent selection of good salsa music by DJ Enrique which will motivate you to dance all night. Although the salsa lessons are Cuban there are plenty of ladies attending who can dance cross body though most of the men do lead Cuban style!
As a proponent of Puerto Rican Salsa Romantica it’s not a problem for me to vary what I lead according to the preferences of the lady. (Puerto Rican means the best of cross body & cubana and Salsa Romantica means smooth & sensual.)

Winter Gardens Car Park 1 is the best place to park only a hundred yards from the venue! Drive down the hill (Exeter Road) and turn first left. Drive past the Truth Nightclub and turn left into the car park then left again to park as close as possible to the venue.

I Love Salsa Bournemouth at Bar So
I had a really good time at tonight’s salsa party in Bar So Bournemouth with Moe Flex & Enrique Perez because
– Vendula came even though she wasn’t fully recovered from the excruciating toothache which prevented her coming with me to El Grande or 50/50 Salsa & Bachata over the weekend and we had some excellent salsa dances with lots of spins just as she likes it.
– I had several excellent dances with Madinah as well as one with her daughter Shenaz and friend Taya and
– lots of other good dances with Suzanne, Barbara, Ivonne and many other lovely ladies!
