Philip Wake Had a good time tonight even though the best dance of the night was my first with Giulieta! I had a load of dances with Joanna which were great fun and in perfect rhythm. I also had and some nice dances with Anna, Marie-Angelou and a few other lovely ladies. Paula from Columbia was interesting – although a total beginner she was able to follow my leads to dance the basics very well keeping good time with the music. She’ll be able to tell her mum very soon that’s she’s learned how to salsa! 😉

Philip Wake On the way back to my car I bumped into a beautiful lady called Lorna who was on the way to a night club with her boyfriend. She was impressed with my shirt which I explained was Dashiki from Nigeria. I explained that I considered myself an honorary African ever since I married a beautiful lady from Botswana who was 30 years younger than me and liked to wear African shirts when I go out salsa dancing! Although we are divorced now I inherited her daughter who now regards me as her real dad as I regard her as my real daughter. We chatted for a while and said she thought I must be a very interesting person. We hugged and kissed lightly as I gave her my card and she said she would be in touch! 😉
