Carlos & Clare Paz run a bi-monthly salsa & bachata event usually featuring a live band in the Terrace Bar at Revolution Richmond – an upper floor bar overlooking the River Thames with a dance floor which will accommodate 60 simultaneous dancers with seating spaces for another 40 people.

Schedule: The first and third Sunday of every month.
Parking: Free parking is available at Friars Lane Car Park, TW9 1NL which is only 4 minutes walk from the venue

- 6:30: Free salsa master class 6:30pm
- 7:15: Social dancing to the music of Colombian DJ Paz
- 7:45: Live Salsa band on stage

Philip Wake It was a bit more ‘quiet’ than usual for the first hour but then Kimber arrived to give me the kind of dance I was craving by then. She must have set a ball rolling because I then had quite a few good dances including one with a beginner called Jackie who had amazing tension and the ability to follow the push and pull of my leading to dance most of my moves really well. Then Miss-Likes-to-Shimmy turned up to give me a couple of good dances with lots of multiple shimmies and full on lean backs. I went back to Kimber a few times so that we could have some more fun dancing together. Around 10pm I had a dance with Charlotte which was definitely last dance material and so I made it the last one! Outside I met a couple young men from Norway who engaged me in conversation about the meaning of life for 15 minutes or so before I wended my way back to the car to drive back to Gosport happy with myself and my place in a wonderful world! ❤️
