Day 138 Salsa Walk
I felt stronger today and walked the 3 miles at 65% tempo in 54:00 which is 71 seconds faster than yesterday so I must have taken longer strides. I walked the first mile in 20:33 (to Dioumte & Abibou) and the Military Road mile in 18:13 (to Lindas, Temedi & SonFo) which shows how much faster I walked to the faster music.
I would love to see dancing down the street. Or a picture of a remarkable site along the route? You really have such a cool journal being created here.
Thank you – here are some areal shots.

If you’re using a mobile phone and tapping on a picture doesn’t zoom in – tap on the last picture and scroll backward!
Note that the Google route in blue dots doesn’t show where I’m actually walking. I keep to the left hand pavement all the way round and, because I’m walking anticlockwise, I don’t have to cross any main roads – only side roads on which I have priority over cars according to the Highway Code (Rule 170) at least if not to certain drivers who believe they own the road!
