The Latin Collective boast that Scalalatina is The UKs Biggest Latin club night with 1200+ people at each event! It's an all night event held on a Sunday at Scala from 6pm to 6am. I always look forward to being part of the biggest and best monthly salsa dancing venue in the UK which is El Grande at Scala from 21:30 to 05:00 - 4 rooms for salsa, cubana, bachata & kizomba - often attended by more than 1200 dancers! 2018-08-25: London LatinFest 2018 Saturday Party Night at ULU!

The Latin Collective are the hosts for the London LatinFest 2018 which runs from Monday 20th September to Sunday 26th. My interest is in the party nights on Saturday and Sunday. 2018-08-11: El Bembe Salsa Party at Bottlescrue London via Spinnaker Tower Southsea!

I planned to go to  S-B-K at Spinnaker Tower 2018 and arrived at 8:50pm to be turned away by a fellow called Mike who runs Salsa Touch I believe - the co-host to Salsa Katanga for the evening. He turned me away because it was a black tie event and my Ghanaian Kente shirt didn't count despite it being worn by royalty in Ghana on special occasions. It has a very large top quality dance floor, an excellent sound system, effective cooling and a stage for the top quality DJs. Shelley Cook de Prado and Gilberto Prado Mendez are the organisers of this superb event and when it clashes with El Bembe as it did tonight I'll go to the 2nd El Bembe of the month instead!
