Enrique Perez & his partner  Rob Carroll run an excellent evening of salsa at Bar So in Bournemouth every Wednesday. There are  bachata workshops from 7:30pm to 8:30pm followed by Cuban salsa workshops from 8:45pm until 10:30pm.  All levels are catered for with the one and only Moe Flex usually providing the advanced level for bachata & salsa. 2018-07-21: Bailando on the Pier at Southsea!

DALE Afro Latin Entertainment were the first to arrange a salsa event at South Parade Pier since it was closed for refurbishing in 2012! It's features a magnificent dance floor for up to 600 people, an excellent sound system, air conditioning that works if you stand just under one of the blowers and a large stage which on this occasions was used by a lived band and our DJ for the evening. Tracie's Latin Club (TLC) run a salsa night every Thursday at St Barnabas Church Hall, Lodge Road, Southampton SO14 6QS from 8pm to 11pm. Sometimes there is some extra at 7pm: either a bachata lesson for experienced dancers featuring Naomi Holloway or Joanna Wosk with partner Alex Magnusson or a Ladies Styling session featuring the amazing Joanna Wosk or the legendary Colleen Daniels. It's that Irish day again - every week more and more talented salseras turn up and it has becoming almost as good as a London venue in terms of the number of quality of dances I have! I've been 4 Sundays in a row now and it is definitely on my permanent list for salsa on Sunday! Latino Interactive run a salsa event at Medbar in Southampton every Sunday from 5pm to 10pm. I've been 3 Sundays in a row now and it is definitely on my permanent list for salsa on Sunday! After a 99% humidity hot salsa session at ABCD last night it was good to have some wonderful dances with some lovely salseras without looking like we've just been in a shower!
