The Drift Bar in Southsea is the venue for Bailando every Thursday run by DALE Afro Latin Entertainment from 10pm to 3am. When I arrive around 10pm for the salsa dancing upstairs there are usually plenty of people who attended the earlier bachata lessons from 8:30 to 10pm staying on for an hour or so to practice to bachata music. Tracie's Latin Club (TLC) run a salsa night every Thursday at St Barnabas Church Hall, Lodge Road, Southampton SO14 6QS from 8pm to 11pm. Sometimes there is some extra at 7pm: either a bachata lesson for experienced dancers featuring Naomi Holloway or Joanna Wosk with partner Alex Magnusson or a Ladies Styling session featuring the amazing Joanna Wosk or the legendary Colleen Daniels.
