Ola Latina, The Latin Passion, London Dance Cartel, Bachata Spice & Salsateca London started a new event called Madre Rumba Meets Bachata Spice on 2nd March 2019 at the Pimilico Academy which is scheduled for the first Saturday of every month. Here’s hoping that Salsa Fusion will move to the 2nd Saturday now El Bembe as moved from the 2nd to the 4th!
Venue: Pimlico Academy at Lupus St, London SW1V 3AT
Schedule: Every first Saturday of the month
Times: Lessons from 8pm, social dancing from 9:45 to 2am
Tube: 2 minutes from Pimlico Station
Parking: Plenty of free parking after 8:30pm in surrounding roads.
Ticket: £12 (You must bring your ID)
Format: Salsa in the large ballroom, bachata next to the bar in the corridor, cubana in a separate room.

Philip Wake Well I think we can all agree it was hot tonight! Though somewhat damper than usual, I had an excellent time with lots of excellent dances including a salsa with a total beginner who followed me really well without words – she just followed my lead. Afterwards she said: “You’re a really good dancer – where are you from?”
“From Portsmouth,” I said.
“I thought you were going to say from somewhere in South America,” she said with a surprised look on her face. What a lovely compliment.
Then I had the best dance of the night with guess who – Karina Perez – this is a habit I could get used to! See you again soon Karina 🙂 💘
