B-Town Latino hosted a brand new bachata and salsa festival in Brighton from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 February 2020 at the Holiday Inn Brighton - Seafront. The wooden dance floor has a capacity for several hundred dancers, a good sound system and adequate air conditioning. Miguel Mayana runs this salsa event in Balham at the White Eagle Club (aka Hamilton House) on the first Friday of every month. It is a welcome rebirth of the Que Rico event which used to run on the 2nd Friday of each month at The Bedford in Balham last year until it had to be closed for refurbishment. This venue has a luxurious ballroom for salsa dancing - big enough for 500 dancers I'd say. Miguel Mayana resumed his monthly salsa event in Balham at the White Eagle Club (aka Hamilton House) in February. 2018-12-08: El Bembe Christmas Party Special at Pimlico Academy!

Salsateca London and Ola Latina run a regular event called El Bembe every 2nd Saturday of the month at The Bottlescrue. Sometimes there's one on the 4th Saturday too. Tonight was a special Christmas party at Pimlico Academy with salsa dancing in an enormous ballroom with bachata & kizomba in separate smaller areas.

There is single yellow line parking in the street outside at night.
