The atmosphere is very friendly as it was at The Bottlescrue for 6 years but dance floor is better with air conditioning that actually works well! Salsateca London and Ola Latina run a regular event called El Bembe every 4th Saturday of the month at The Bottlescrue, 33 Foster Lane, London EC2V 6HD. There is parking in the streets nearby from 7pm onwards. The venue offers plenty of space for dancing in the main salsa room formed by 3 rectangular areas surrounding the dining tables down the middle of the room. Salsateca London and Ola Latina host an excellent salsa & bachata party night on the Last Friday of every month in the Great Hall in Bromley Civic Centre. It's a 100 miles drive from Gosport for me but my first time of going was good and I decided to go again although I had planned to go to Putney Salsa Club this particular Friday!
