Salsa Brighton Dance run a salsa event weekly on Sundays at Revolution Brighton  featuring  Giulieta, Funky & Guest as instructors and Aaron George & Guest as DJs. The atmosphere is very friendly and I always feel very welcome.

Parking: There’s plenty of free parking on single yellow lines in nearby side roads.

Times: Bachata & cubana lessons 8pm to 10pm then social dancing until 2am. For more information click on the facebook links below.

Entrance: £6 for 1 class, £10 for two with social dancing free (Students with ID £3/£5).

Format: The salsa room is downstairs from the ground floor and feels like a dungeon with a bar but there is plenty of room for dancing.

Philip Wake How nice it was to be back after missing last week. I had two wonderful dances with Giulieta to get me going and going I definitely got! It was good to dance with Amber again – such a charming girl and she follows me so well. I discovered she likes dips tonight and gave her loads during our last dance just before I left! It was good to dance with Nicci too – we dance really well together. Dancing with Amber2 (the birthday girl) was fun and I had lots of good dances with many other lovely ladies before I had that last dance with Amber1.

I had a dance with one total beginner and simply could not get her to move her legs like she was walking – she moved them stiffly – so we had to give up laughing after a few bars. However, when I danced with her friend she managed to move her legs the way they’re meant to move – for a salsa at first and then a bachata later.

After that last dance with Amber I left to get my usual chips before driving back to Gosport a very happy salsero after 6 nights of salsa in a row! ❣️🔥❣️
