Philip Wake The party atmosphere at Revolution Richmond with Mundo Latino Uk – Latin Dance School and live music from Elpidio & Su Alegria Latina tonight was electric and led to my having many excellent dances with lots of amazing salseras. One of them was with a young lady from Venezuela who said she had no idea how to salsa. I proceed to lead her as if she was an experienced salsera and she just followed my as if dancing were in her blood which of course it was!

I then had a salsa with a lady I had danced with before which turned out to be the 2nd best of the night. Afterwards I said to the lady: “We could use that for a performance!” to which she replied: “I think we just did!” She was right – those nearby had been watching with much interest and even more so later when we had the best dance of the night together. When I left I told her I’d had an excellent night of salsa dancing but she had made it brilliant. She replied that it had been the same for her! 💘
