Kasia Rajca, an amazing salsa dancer & teacher, provides a salsa social at the Outside-In Food Court in Portsmouth every Tuesday which include salsa and bachata dancing lessons. See the Salsa Solent Portsmouth facebook page or Salsa Solent Portsmouth facebook group for more information about this and other events presented by Kasia. The original venue for the event was the Art Coffee House but Kasia‘s salsa family became so large after 14 weeks she had to move to a larger venue. As the new venue is only 5 minutes walk away from the original her salsa family has no problem getting there!
Venue: Outside-In Food Court at 56 Middle Street, Portsmouth, PO5 4BP
Parking: There’s plenty of free parking for 3 hours in the nearby roads.
Times:
- 7:30pm Bachata lessons
- 8:15pm Salsa lessons
- 9pm Social dancing
- 11pm Close
Entrance: £4 for social dancing only – £6 including the lessons.

Philip Wake Although there weren’t as many dancers as usual tonight, I nevertheless had a fantastic night of salsa because so many of my favourite salseras were there, some I hadn’t seen for a while: Barbara (years up to last week), Marzena (months), Kate (weeks), Magdalena (years), Mar Y Ola (weeks) and Hazel who performed a record 16 spins in each direction tonight . . . twice. Also I had some nice bachata dances with Renata, Iyanna and a few other charming ladies! ❤️
