Salsa Walking to Keep Me Fit!

I’ve been walking 4 miles every day – 10,000 daily steps – a marathon weekly – for 81 days now as exercise to keep me fit in lieu of going salsa dancing 6 nights a week. I wear headphones and walk to the beat of salsa music to make it more interesting and, because I’ve always found walking hard work, this makes walking smooth like dancing and therefore easier for me! I produce a report every day and I have copied yesterdays below! You will have to follow this link and scroll down to the last couple of posts to see why I was lacking in energy the day before!

Day 81 Salsa Walk35:39 + 36:32 = 72:11

What a difference from yesterday – lots of energy and a decent walking speed for a good workout almost the same as a couple of hours of salsa dancing! It was a bit damp with a cool breeze so I wore my jacket just in case but it didn’t actually rain and I ended up with a wet jacket on the inside as well as a soaking wet Dashiki shirt! I walked without music on the way but with music on the way back which is why it was slightly slower because I couldn’t help walking to the beat of the music which is never fast enough for a really fast walk! It’s a balance between getting bored and speed!
