The Drift Bar in Southsea is the venue for Bailando every Thursday run by DALE Afro Latin Entertainment from 10pm to 3am. When I arrive around 10:30pm for the salsa dancing upstairs there are usually plenty of people who attended the earlier bachata lessons from 8 to 10pm staying on for an hour or so to practice to bachata music. Salsa Katanga runs an evening of salsa dancing at the Irish Club from 8:30pm-11pm every Wednesday evening! Join Katanga and his team for salsa lessons, with 3 levels from beginner to advanced from 8:30pm or just come to the social dancing at 9:30pm as I do.
