The Drift Bar in Southsea is the venue for Bailando every Thursday run by DALE Afro Latin Entertainment from 10pm to 3am. When I arrive around 10:30pm for the salsa dancing upstairs there are usually plenty of people who attended the earlier bachata lessons from 8:30 to 10pm staying on for an hour or so to practice to bachata music. The Drift Bar in Southsea is the venue for Bailando every Thursday run by DALE Afro Latin Entertainment from 10pm to 3am. It has been good for the first few months of the year because there have been plenty of people attending Skye's earlier bachata lessons upstairs from 8 to 10pm and most stay for an hour or so to practice to bachata music. Around 11pm the salsa music begins.

Having been to Bar So in Bournemouth on Wednesdays over the Christmas/New Year period (20Dec, 27Dec, 3Jan, 10Jan)  and enjoyed it so much I now alternate between the Irish Club and Bar So every other week! Tonight it's the Irish Club!

Event 2018-05-20: Tropical Sunday at Drift in Southsea after Salsa Cubana with Kasia Rajca!

Tonight was Tropical Sunday at the Drift Bar run by DALE Afro Latin Entertainment from 7pm to 12:30am. There are usually 2 sessions of bachata or salsa lessons at 7:30 and 8:30pm but tonight was a Cubana Special run by the amazing Kasia Rajca which went very well apparently!

There's plenty of parking round the back in the Ashby Place car park.
