I always look forward to being part of the biggest and best monthly salsa dancing venue in the UK which is El Grande at Scala from 21:30 to 05:00 - 4 rooms for salsa, cubana, bachata & kizomba - often attended by more than 1200 dancers! 2018-12-26: Metrolatina Wednesdays at Bar Salsa Soho – Boxing Day Mega Party with Vendula!

The Latin Collective run Metrolatina Wednesdays at Bar Salsa Soho every week but this was a special for Boxing day event which I agreed go to with Vendula when she asked if there was anything available on Boxing day. There are classes from 6pm to 9:30 but we were only interested in the social dancing from 9:30 until 2am. Pexava Dance run a Saturday Salsa Special at Conway Hall in Holborn London on a monthly basis. It has a very large top quality dance floor, an excellent sound system, effective air conditioning and a stage for the top quality DJs. Shelley Cook de Prado and Gilberto Prado Mendez are the organisers of this superb event which I attend when it does not clash with El Bembe on the 2nd Saturday of the month!
